I registered 2 vehicles for a good cause. Was a little disappointed that there were only one trophy each for hor rods and customs and nothing for unusal vehicles. Nice day and  alot of cars

Great show, lots of cars, vendors and spectators. With the turn out I'm sure they did well for their charity and that's what matters.

Great event for a greater cause.  Second year that I attend and it was BIGGER and Better... IMO.  More cars than last year and I believe there were more vendors too!!  Weather was perfect and people were very friendly.  Looking forward to next year!

Not for nothing, and that is a NY saying, if $35 is a bit much, don't come! I feel the same as yous guys, if it is too much, I don't go. But to complain about it is petty. After all these guys put a lot of time and effort in putting these shows together, and after all it's for charity, write it off! By the way, it's going to be 80 tomorrow.

I said my peace, I will not respond to any comments. Now go out and enjoy the day!

JR, it's "youse" and when did you ever live in NY? :--)

I appreciate all the comments and concerns and yes it all goes to charity. I volunteer the DJ services as well.  Mike and Darrel have volunteered their time to help setup the show and the judging along with registration, attending the year long meetings starting about 2 to 3 weeks after the event ends.

I know sometimes it is hard to plan in advance, but several members signed up in Dec and it was only $15 dollars for early signup with the discount. I sent out several messages.  And to those who attended the OC indoor show earlier in the year, they got an extra $10 rebate, which brought the cost down to $5 for registration so we really do try and encourage a early sign up.  It is a great show and you will have a good time.  I think the 6 custom trophies are really cool.

$35 would be OK.... if there was steak involved.

Joe Gall Comment by Joe Gall on January 17, 2012 at 7:03pm

If it wasn't for the discount we couldn't have gone. It is a steep one but I'm guessing and hoping it all goes to charity...

Comment by Brian on January 17, 2012 at 6:55pm

WAY overpriced at $35. If it weren't for the $10 discount, I wouldn't go. These people need to remember we're doing THEM a favor. No cars. No show.
