Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital Fundraiser - Waldorf Astoria - 10/21/12 ~ A Fantastic Day

This past Sunday, members of the Muscle Car Network had a chance to be a part of a wonderful event at the Waldorf Astoria resort on the Disney World property. The event was to raise money for the Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital & was sponsored by the organizers of the Festivals of Speed. The setting was simply beautiful on the grounds of the Waldorf with lakes & a golf course as part of the venue. Anytime you can spend quality time with family & friends, show your rides to folks who love to share your automotive interests & contribute to a great charity is a winning day in my book. Although we learned about this event only recently thanks to JR, we had a nice size group of members attend, most with their rides & a few came by to support the event. We raised $250 which we presented to the Arnold Palmer Hospital at the show & when combined with the crowd's input it was a very rewarding day for all of us. It was a great day in Orlando and my thanks to the 11 members and gals who attended. It was a great venue, a relaxing day, comfortable chairs, good scenery and great food. The special gift from Meguiars was also a nice touch as well. But the most important thing was we got together, had fun showing our cars and you Muscle Car members reached into your pockets and we gave $250 to the Arnold Palmer Hospital for children. That made it extra special for me and I hope for you as well. It was something different to do and I had one of the best times I have had in awhile. Thanks and here is my few added photos -
