"Really appreciate the opportunity provided by the Muscle Car Network to attend the Good Guys show again this year. Matt and Linda had us volunteers covered from start to finish. Thanks for being so organized!"
"Always a lot of fun to volunteer and help out! Thanks for all you do in making us a part of this event Mike, JR and Matt! It was nice to meet many of our members. Congrats Barry and Cheri on your awards. Well deserved. Barry I'm sure you heard…"
After four days of working at the Goodguys event in Kissimmee & a day to recover I want to report that the 2015 show gave central Florida a long weekend of fun for car lovers. I did not hear the final total of registered vehicles but my estimate was over 1000 based on all the tickets our amazing team of Muscle Car Network volunteers collected as the show cars entered the event. First & foremost my thanks to Matt & Linda Kilmer who helped with both the pre-show planning &…See More

Networking is really important - what is your occupation?
Officially Retired but will work for Chevelle Car Parts
This a social network and we require you use your first n last name as your screen name. we have alot of members with similar names and we don't accept AKA's, initials, nicknames, abbreviations. or company names as a screen name. If you use anything but a real name as a screen name, it will be declined. The only time a screen name can be a business, is if you sign up as a vendor and would like to support the site.
How Can you help build the Muscle Car Network? The Network is a community-driven, participatory website. As you explore and use the network, please let us know of groups, networks or car people around the central Florida that might benefit from or bring something to the network - whether it’s compelling content, new events, fresh opinions or perspectives. The Muscle Car Network Team is a team of volunteers here in Central Florida to increase the effectiveness and impact of the network and to overall make it a better car scene for all. To be part of this network we would hope you want to be involved, whether by adding comments, events, pictures and of course turning out for events. Will you help us build on that premise?
We have 1 simple rule, be positive and dont post anything about anybody you would not say to them in person and life will be good here.
After seeing Scott Dewar's great video of the Hemi Under Glass wheel standing race car, I just had to go back to my photo files & dig out some of my racing memories from the NY National Speedway & the NJ Englishtown Raceway. Being the "Young Lad" that I am, I was fortunate to have seen the Hemi Under Glass race & other great classic race cars like the little Red Wagon, Grumpy Bill Jenkins' "Grumpy's Toy", Dyno Don Nicholson, Sox & Martin, Don "The Snake" Prudhomme & many…Continue
I was pleasantly surprised when Greg Mack told me last weekend (thanks Greg) that my 1st car, which I purchased in 1967, was in Mike Kelly's Cruise News as part of their coverage of the 10th Annual Veterans Car Show held at the Citrus Tower in Clermont. I managed to get "published" in full color on glossy paper after only 43 years.
Mike: ... I sent a similar message to JR..... but I know you were his partner in crime on this one.
I hope you already got 149 "Thank You's" or more !
My comments are simple but I am sure you will understand.
" The event you have DREAMED ABOUT about for years ........just happened !
You and your helpers like Mike Steiner and the judges etc.should be as PROUD as a brand new Dad, or GRANDPA ! Nothing like this can happen without a great deal of time, thought and effort and very, very, very few guys would be willing or able to take this kind of project on.
The success of the show speaks for all the work. Those who participated...... we just paid a fee and showed up. Yes, it cut a few hours of sleep out for us, but it merely gave them a small sample of what you folks had to deal with for many months.
THANK YOU ALL !!
A great event --- a great job --- a great group. !!!!!!!!
We as members are a privileged bunch ! And on top of it all, we are now spoiled rotten. Believe me, the folks in West Texas, North Dakota, Indiana and New Hampshire never even get a chance at something like we just experienced. WOW !!
Hi Mike. Sorry I missed your message. Do you know about what time on Saturday they will be dismissing the cars from the show? I have a funeral to go to in Melbourne and I'm just trying to get an idea. We have two cars there and I will need one of my kids to drive my Dart back to Ft. Wilderness where we will be camping. BTW, your 67 Chevelle is my very favorite year for Chevelles. Love it!!!
