Last night, a group of car guys & gals helped a local elementary school with their 1st fundraiser by cruising to their event & having a small but fun packed car show. Thanks to the efforts of MCN member, Darrel Cole, we set up our classic cars on the school's ball field & became part of their 50's (& '60's) night of fun. I was pleasantly surprised when Greg Mack told me last weekend (thanks Greg) that my 1st car, which I purchased in 1967, was in Mike Kelly's Cruise News as part of their coverage of the 10th Annual Veterans Car Show held at the Citrus Tower in Clermont. I managed to get "published" in full color on glossy paper after only 43 years.
